The First Roma Dolce

Located on Via del Corso, this new hotel is located in a 19th-century building  by neo-classical architect Giuseppe Valadier.
Designed by the same architectural design team behind The First Roma Arte (its sister property, just a short walk away) The First Roma Dolce offers 23 suites and guest rooms in an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere comprised of warm and spacious interiors.
Amenities will include in-room personal fitness areas, libraries, and state of the art technologies. A series of initiative are dedicated to guests to “Explore Rome”, such as tours (Behold Raphael’s Frescos at Villa Farnesina, Discover Fontana di Trevi from a New Perspective, Explore the Jewish Ghetto, a Neighbourhood of Memories, Visit the Fairy Tale Homes of Coppedè) and experiential visits (look down). Velo Patisserie and Dining

The Velo patisserie is the reference point for authentic gastronomic experiences on the sweet theme, calibrated according to seasonality. Throughout the day, the all day menu offers lunch, dinner and pleasant breaks where a selection of puddings, pralines and small pastries is never missing. Open from 12 am to 11 pm with a simplified proposal, the restaurant menu includes the Italian antipasto (cheeses, cold cuts, hams), three pastas (one Roman, one filled, one baked) and a main course (salmon, cod or fillet). For those who want to opt for the single dish there is also the possibility to choose between soup, salads or hamburgers. As for the pastisserie, there are also variations of dishes linked to seasonality. The classic Afternoon Tea is a precious moment to take an afternoon break or organize a small meeting.

The Artist’s Workshop

If you love the artworks at The First Roma, you won’t want to miss a visit to the extraordinary Pastificio Cerere. This former century old pasta factory is now home to art galleries, photography schools, graphic studios and workshops of notable contemporary artists, including Piero Pizzi Cannella, Leonardo Petrucci, Oliviero Rainaldi and Maurizio Savini, whose works are currently exhibited at The First Roma. An experienced guide leads you through the former factory, which became a vibrant artistic centre back in the 1980s. See the creative process in action and immerse yourself in the cultural vibe of this unique artistic space. The building is also home to the famous Pastificio San Lorenzo, where you can sip a glass of wine and enjoy culinary delights that expertly infuse Italian tradition with distant notes. The journey ends with a trip down memory lane at the former chocolate factory, SAID, where you can delight in the endless cocoa flavours of your childhood. Roberto E. Wirth, owner and general manager of the Hotel Hassler, has chosen a new Chef to guide the gourmet restaurant Imàgo: Andrea Antonini. The young Chef, born in 1991, arrives at Imàgo from a long and happy experience in Spain with the world cuisine champions of El Celler de Can Roca and Quique Dacosta, both 3 Michelin stars and Best Restaurants for the 50Best!
“With Roberto Wirth we immediately found the meeting point on the philosophy of cuisine that will be expressed by Imàgo”, Antonini states: “at the center there will be Italianness with tributes to the tradition and seasonality of the products, which will always be proposed with the vision and contemporary taste, like mine “.
The Restaurant will open, in soft opening, on April 5th offering a series of exploratory dishes that will be preparatory to the formation of the new menu. The local products that arrive daily will be the basis for creating a surprise tasting menu (“Chicken and peppers in ravioli … fermentation” in the picture).

Widespread Art Gallery

The St. Regis Rome has signed a collaboration with the international art gallery “Galleria Continua” to introduce its guests to masterpieces of the best exponents of the contemporary art scene. The hotel will host a series of exhibitions every six months. The calendar has been inaugurated by Loris Cecchini, protagonist with the installation of four works located in the common areas of the hotel, so that they can be enjoyed and appreciated by all hotel guests. Restyling for the AcquaRoof terrace which, thanks to the new roof, can be experienced even in the coldest months and at all hours, from morning to breakfast until late night for an after dinner. New proposal contains several souls: kitchen, cafè and cocktail bar. Three aspects mixed together to offer guests a transversal taste experience, in a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that can be summed up in the “Sea Lounge” description.
AcquaRoof Terrazza Molinari reconfirms a simple and essential kitchen, mainly by the sea. Spontaneous and refined, cuisine it is shaped by the character of the Chef Angelo Troiani (1 Michelin Star), assisted by Chef Claudia Ceppaluni; that stands out for its original format: le Gocce, small distilled taste to taste à la carte or within specific tasting routes; small gastronomic delights that arise from the encounter between Italian cuisine, the Roman culinary tradition and that of the Mediterranean.
Peculiarity of the Terrace is the essential relationship between kitchen and bar, with new proposals that combine food and drink, using the typical ingredients of cocktails in the preparation of dishes and the other way around.
