L’Officina, cuisine from the world in Prati district

A journey among the flavors and fragrances of the world. This is what awaits you crossing the threshold of the L’Officina, new fusion restaurant in Prati district where asian spices are blended with the Mediterranean fragrances. An offer that changes during the daylight, but with a single impression: quality of products and unexpected and interesting combinations.

At lunchtime you can compose your own dish by choosing directly from the storefront display. Wok, steam and slow cooking, with a menu that changes daily and gives the opportunity to have fun to “build” your dish: basmati rice, Venus, whole weath rice, barley, spelt, quinoa or couscous to match with fish, meat and vegetables as Ceviche of baccalà lime, ginger and avocado, Salmon in the crust of flour flavored with indian spices and magrebine, Roasted turkey in a sauce of pineapple and coconut, Pork loin cooked at low temperature in the salsa yakitori, toasted sesame seeds, mashed apples and leak, Vegetable balls carrots, quinoa, almonds and zest of lemon, Roasted radicchio served with apple, leek and dill seeds Indian, Cruditè of cabbage, mango and avocado.

 Evenings at L’Officina spend between ramen and noodles, samosa and gyoza, sushi and sashimi, ceviche and gazpacho; a menu in which the dishes of the cuisine of the world are reinterpreted in mediterranean key. Among the proposals: Soup of prawns with curry and coconut milk, Ceviche of salmon with crunchy salad, Tartare of Fassona with herb and lime sauce, Tataki of tuna and sesame seeds with fruit salad, Black tofu with mush peas, basil and crisp potato, Tajine of lamb, caramelized plums with cous cous and ‘caponata’ with mint, Tandoori Chicken with baked potatoes and salsa yoghurt.

One of the main course of L’Officina the ramen presented in four version: Ramen in vegetable jus with shitaki mushrooms and seitan, Ramen with meat, vegetables and crunchy bacon, Ramen in fish sauce, vegetables, praws and ‘naruto’, Ramen Thai green curry and coconut shrimps. Fusion is present also in the dessert proposal as black sesame seeds ice cream with fresh fruits and Eclair with liquorice cream and coffee. The offer of L’Officina also includes a list of wine in particular a selection of labels from South Africa and of course many choices from Italy.
